Buds Sports is proud to announce its official partnership with Origine Racing Division, a brand-new and ambitious team set to shake up the world of cross-country mountain biking starting in the 2025 season. At the heart of this project? A shared passion for the sport, the discipline of elite competition, and a common ambition to always push further — supported by top-tier equipment.
A team built to perform
Leading this newly formed squad are two well-known figures from the international MTB scene:
Maxime Marotte, former French National Team rider and multiple World Championship medalist, steps off the bike to take on the role of Sports Manager.
Alongside him, Mathieu Durand, Maxime’s former agent and ex-manager of the Specialized Enduro Team, is in charge of logistics and administrative management.
Their goal? Nothing less than establishing themselves quickly on the international stage. And to achieve that, they’ve assembled a truly impressive roster.
A dream team aiming for the top
For its debut season, Origine Racing Division lines up a high-level quartet:
🏆 Mathis Azzaro: 5th at the most recent XCO World Championships, French XCC Champion, and chasing his first World Cup victory.
🏆 Martina Berta: two-time Italian Champion and bronze medalist at the 2024 World Championships, aiming for the very top.
🏆 Ronja Eibl: German talent and three-time U23 World Cup winner, determined to return to the highest level.
Knut Rohme: Norwegian Champion and 20th at the 2024 Olympic Games, with strong potential, especially in short track.
This is clearly a team built not to learn — but to shine right away.
