A clear goal: get noticed and race for stage wins
The Cofidis team, which we support at Buds-Sports, has just confirmed the seven riders who will line up for the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, starting this Saturday, August 1, in Lausanne.
Nine stages, a Grand Départ in Switzerland and a finish in Nice: the program is a demanding one, and we were waiting for this announcement with real impatience, because our partnership with the team is built out in the field, where equipment and athletes are truly put to the test.
Cofidis has set out a clear plan: no protected leader for the general classification, but an aggressive race, stage after stage. Breakaways on the trickier days, opportunities whenever the road goes up, and a card to play in the bunch sprints.
The designated sprint leader is Amalie Dideriksen, reigning Danish national champion and winner of the Région Pays de la Loire Tour this season. On the climbing days, Julie Bego, Ema Comte, Malwina Mul and Nikola Nosková will have a free hand.
Sports director Mélanie Briot sums up the brief: the team is not targeting the general classification, but intends to make its mark on the race in its own way, going for breakaways on some days and a sprint result with Amalie on the others.
This is a fifth consecutive start for Cofidis, present at every edition since the race was relaunched in 2022.

Three riders to watch closely
Amalie Dideriksen, the sprint card. At 30, the Dane arrives full of confidence: a national road title and a win at the Région Pays de la Loire Tour this season. She is formidable in a straightforward bunch sprint, and even more dangerous when the stage has been hard enough to shed the pure sprinters.
Julie Bego, the confirmed breakthrough. The 21-year-old Frenchwoman took the white jersey as best young rider on stage one in 2025 and only gave it up on the final day. She returns as a rider to watch on the hilly stages, and is one of the profiles earmarked for the breakaway.
Ema Comte, the first time. Also 21, she discovers the Grande Boucle after a strong season in stage races: 4th overall at the Bretagne Ladies Tour and 4th on a stage of the CIC-Tour Féminin des Pyrénées. A climber's profile that should suit the Alpine route.
