No. The Chipolo POP works with only one network at a time. You can reset it to connect it to the other network later.
Do I need to install two apps?

No. One app is enough: Find My on iPhone or Find Hub (formerly Find My Device) on Android. The Chipolo app is optional and unlocks extra features.
How long does the Chipolo POP battery last?
