Unfortunately, the MTBAG ORIGINAL is not designed for air travel. However, we offer a dedicated collection of bike travel bags specifically crafted for air transport. Be sure to check them out for a perfectly suited option!
What should I do with my removed front wheel?

No worries, we’ve got you covered. The bag includes a fully padded, dedicated pocket designed to securely store and protect your front wheel during transport.
What is included with the bag?

What does “TSA approved” mean?

The term TSA approved applies only to locks and padlocks used to secure luggage. It ensures that TSA officers can open and re-lock your bag with a master key during inspection, without damaging your lock or luggage.

Super product, very practical. Quick to put the bike in. I put a moustache speed bike in M and it fits perfectly. Better to disassemble the pedals or have folding pedals or protectors.
The only drawback is that the grips are a bit long, so the house tends to rub the ground.

You get what you paid for

The bag is exactly as i ordered but i hate to say that i WOULD NOT RECOMMEND in general. If you want to sew in some extra padding and fill in the gaps with bubble wrap and try your luck like i did, go for it. In the end i would go with a hard case. Another $100 into a better bag/box or $100+ in repairs in the long run. Soft bags shouldn’t even be marketed to fly. Bag material is durable but frayed on first flight.

However, the MTBag Original is not intended for air transport.
It is an unpadded bag, unlike the MTBag Travel which is fully padded and suitable for air travel.
This is clearly stated on our product pages.
We would have been able to exchange the bag if you had contacted us for that.

best option for my Yeti

It has now been several months since I bought the cover and I therefore have a lot of perspective on the use.
I use it regularly to transport my bike in the car and what seduced me first was the fact of keeping the rear wheel on the bike, how easy!
I have a Yeti mtb in size M which fits perfectly.
